Alvin Community College Continuing Education & Workforce Development is a Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) approved provider. We offer the 4 hour course that meets the Electricians new Texas licensing continuing education requirement.
It is your responsibility to renew your electrician's license with TDLR online and pay the appropriate licensing fee prior to the license expiration date.
The NEC 2005 Update course includes 1 hour of state laws and rules. You must complete all 4 hours to receive a certificate of completion.
The tuition is $50. Payment must be made in advance at the time of reg istration. Cash, check or credit card payment is accepted. If paying by check or credit card, the reg istration office will need the check or card holders Texas Driver's License number available at time of payment. You will also need to provide your Electrician's License number at reg istration.
You should bring your NEC book, if you have one. Each student will receive a copy of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations Administrative Rules and the Occupational Code.
A student may submit a written request up to 3 days prior to the class start date and receive a refund less a $20 cancellation fee. No refund after that date. Our fax number is 281.756.3952 .

Registration Details
• Classes must have sufficient enrollment within five working days prior to start of class.
• In the event of inclement weather, every attempt will be made to contact each student.
• A back up instructor will be on stand by in case of instructor no show or illness.
