Yoga and Cardio-Kickboxing


Yoga

Yoga has been practiced around the world for over 5,000 years, and offers a variety of physical, emotional and mental health benefits. With regular practice, yoga can:
  •     Aid in weight loss
  •     Increase flexibility, strength and fitness
  •     Improve posture
  •     Reduce stress
  •     Tones the muscles
A basic yogic practice is made up of three main components: Meditation for stress reduction, pranayama, breathing techniques that help you to control your body and mind; and asanas, poses to stretch your muscles and increase flexibility and muscle tone.   Yoga is non-competitive and leaves you feeling invigorated, yet calm and relaxed.

Classes will start as a beginner level and progress to an intermediate level. Each class consists of meditation, pranayama (breath techniques), and yoga poses.  Class ends with relaxation. See class dates below.

Cardio Kickboxing

(open enrollment)

Sculpt your body to what you want with intense kickboxing workouts. Kickboxing workouts can build up or tone any part of your body. Workouts include signature moves proven to burn fat and help give you a sleek, toned body and rock hard abs. Incredible moves target your core and abs and guarantee you to get serious results! Inspired by dance and martial arts moves, each one targets a specific muscle group or body part to strengthen and sculpt your physique and promote overall balance and core strength. The moves are fun, effective and really work!

Also included in this class is boot camp training which involve calisthenics like pushups, jumping jacks, crunches and other body weight exercises...the difference lies in the intensity. In boot camp, your challenge is to take your body to its limit. You work, you sweat and, best of all, you burn calories like crazy.
