You’re on the Air...How to REALLY Make it in Voice-Overs!
VOICE-OVERS are hot today! You don’t have to be an actor to get voice-over work, but it certainly doesn’t hurt. Take our introductory class and you will learn about an exciting new way to get around the competition and actually turn voice-overs into a thriving full or part-time business. In this two-hour workshop, Heather Costa, a successful voice-over artist, will introduce the voice-over business and discuss: the industry’s opportunities; the income potential; how to make a demo; the all-important demo and how to have it produced; and the kinds of voices in demand. Most importantly, we demonstrate Tony Award nominated composer and commercial producer Dan Levine’s method for finding work, which is actually the ONLY way to get voice-over work. We will introduce students to the voice-over business as a whole. Talk about the numerous opportunities! You’ll step up to the microphone to do some practice recording, and best of all, hear the results!
