Pathways to the ADN Degree

The program has two pathways for students to earn their ADN degree:

1. ADN Generic . The traditional pathway to enter the ADN program. ADN coursework, excluding pre-requisites, is designed for completion within 2 years. A new class of 60 students starts each August. The application period is from January through March. Applicants meeting minimum admission requirements become part of an applicant pool and top applicants from this pool are selected for admission.

2. LVN-ADN Transition . The Transition program provides an abbreviated pathway to allow nurses who are LVN’s to earn their ADN. A new nursing class of 10-20 students starts in mid-May. The application period is from January to the first week in March. Applicants meeting minimum admission requirements become part of an applicant pool and top applicants from this pool are selected for admission.
