Are you interested in nurturing and teaching preschool children? If so, a career as an Early Childhood specialist may be for you. Early Childhood Specialists play an important role in a child’s development by caring for the child when parents are at work or away for other reasons. In addition to attending to children’s basic needs, specialists organize activities that stimulate the children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth. Imagine helping children to explore their interests, develop their talents and independence, build self-esteem and learn how to interact with others.
ACC’s Child Development & Early Childhood Program is recognized as a model program by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
