C. Jay Burton (Chairman, Speech and Drama) holds a Ph. D. in Theatre from Florida State University , a M.A. in Dramatic Arts from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill , NC , and a B. A. in English from University of North Carolina at Greensboro , NC . He has extensive experience in directing, set design, and lighting design, as well as college education. He also holds both a Texas Pyrotechnics Operators License and a Texas Pyrotechnics Special Effects Operators License.
Donna Corley (Special Events Coordinator) holds a M.A. from University of Houston — Clear Lake in Theatre Arts and another M.A. from the University of Houston — Clear Lake in Psychology. Her B.A. is also from University of Houston — Clear Lake . She also holds Secondary Certification in both theatre and psychology. Ms. Corley has wide-ranging experience in creative Drama, costuming, box office and front-of-house management. She also has significant theatre directing experience along with secondary education experience.
