Within the Learning Lab is the Academic
Enhancement Center. The Center is an important resource for students
enrolled in developmental courses, or students who have been out of school
for awhile and want to brush up on study and time management skills.

The Learning Lab offers over 30 computers with Internet access, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and interactive math tutorials. Printers are available for a small fee. Computers may be used any time the lab is open, except when classes are scheduled in the lab.
Computers are also available in the Cyberlink Computer Lab, located in Building A, 1st floor, Room 173.
Math, English, and Reading tutoring are available at no charge to students.

The Learning Lab administers exams for students in TBA courses, and for students that need to make-up an exam.
Exam Procedures
To schedule an exam in the Learning Lab, students need to provide the following:
- Instructor’s name
- Course name and number (as it is listed in the class schedule)
- Exam number (i.e. Exam #1, 2, 3, etc.)
- Exam form (i.e. Scantron, essay, write on test)
- Pencil, pen, paper
- Driver’s license or Texas Dept. of Public Safety ID card
Spring Exam Schedule
Students may start their exam at any time during the following hours. The Learning Lab will not offer testing during final exams.
Monday – Thursday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
Last test begins at 7 pm and must be completed by 8 pm
Friday 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Last test begins at 11 am and must be completed by noon
Testing Deadlines and other Requirements
The last day/time of testing is the last class day of each semester. No more than two tests per day per course. Instructors will be notified if students don’t follow this requirement. There is no testing during final exams.
It is the students’ responsibility to make sure they are taking the correct test.
