The Associate in Science Degree (A.S.)
in Mathematics is designed to prepare students for
transfer to a four-year college or university. Since
many students will continue their education at a major
university, this degree is designed to
enable students to plan their course work to complete
the required prerequisites for their intended major.
In addition, the program is flexible enough that students
desiring to continue their education at major university
may use their A.S. in Mathematics to earn a four year
degree in math or in such diverse fields as Engineering,
Education, Architecture, Computer Science, Physics,
Chemistry, Biology, Nursing, Economics, Business or
Finance.
