American Music & Music Appreciation Instructor
Mr. Anderson was born in Galveston , TX . After obtaining his first degree from Sam Houston State University he embarked on a performance career which took him to the NBC studios in New York . His accompaniment credits include some prominent vocal figures- Mel Torme, Helen O'Connell, Helen Forest, Dick Haymes, Liza Minelli, Tom Jones and Frank Sinatra.
Returning to the area of education, Andy received his M.A. degree from Sam Houston State University and did graduate work at the University of Texas . He has since served on the faculties of Blinn College, Alvin Community College and Lee College of Baytown, TX.
