James Harvey is from Angleton, Texas . A graduate of Angleton High School and Brazosport College, James holds a Master's degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake. James is currently a co-owner of B&H Music Company in Clute, Texas where he has been both guitar instructor and sales manager for the past sixteen years. He is also an Instructor of History at Brazosport College and an Adjunct Instructor of History at Alvin Community College.
James has played bass guitar in the Jazz Ensembles of both Brazosport College and Alvin Community College. He has performed for nineteen years as a singer and guitarist with his wife Leandra as part of the duo "James and Leandra", and for the past fourteen years James has been the lead guitarist and frontman for the country dance band "The Ramblers".
