Psychology is the science of behavior and mental processes.
Psychology covers a broad field including the interrelationships between
brain, environment and behavior. Psychology courses teach theory and
research findings that can help you understand yourself and others. You
can apply what you learn about parenting, interpersonal skills, problem
solving, stress management and emotional intelligence to your life and
work. The Associate of Arts degree in Psychology is intended to provide
you with the first two years of general requirements and a basis in psychology
that will prepare you for transfer to a 4 year college or university.
