Respiratory Care

Program Description

Respiratory Care Practitioners evaluate, treat and care for patients of all ages, from premature infants whose lungs are not fully developed, to elderly people whose lungs are diseased. Often when a patient is in respiratory distress, their next breath depends on a respiratory care practitioner. Students in ACC's Respiratory Care program gain hands-on experience at hospitals in addition to lab and classroom training.
