The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) was established for all state colleges and universities in Texas. The goal is early and effective advisement for incoming students.
All new full and part time students are required to complete assessment before registering for classes. Test results determine course placement. After testing, test scores determine if students are required to enroll in classes designed to enhance skill levels before they are allowed to enroll in the next higher level class.
