Nursing (ADN)/Nursing Transition (LVN to ADN)
Scholarships
The following scholarships are solely for nursing students and are awarded each Spring at the Awards Day Ceremony.
Requirements
- Must be an Alvin ISD High School graduate or have attended an Alvin ISD High School and received a GED Certificate.
- Currently enrolled or fully accepted into the ACC Associate Degree Nursing program
- 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 level) or higher in the A.D.N. curriculum courses (nursing and required non-nursing courses).
- Selection based on GPA in Associate Degree Nursing and required academic nursing curriculum courses taken at ACC. Need for financial assistance is considered.
Amount
The amount varies from year to year based on available funds with a minimum of $500
per semester.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled or fully accepted into the ACC Associate Degree Nursing program
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Completed at least 12 credit hours at Alvin Community College
- Students are ineligible if they are receiving VA benefits or have another major scholarship
- Selection based on GPA in Associate Degree Nursing and academic nursing curriculum courses taken at ACC

- The amount varies from year to year.
- Given to incoming nursing students and students entering their second year in the nursing program.

This scholarship is solely for nursing students and is awarded at the end of each Fall semester.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in the ACC Associate Degree Nursing Program
- Member of ANSA
- Participation in ANSA activities

Varies according to the amount of participation &/or contributions by the member

Complete the ANSA scholarship application and submit by the first Monday in November.
