1. Go online to the college website at www.alvincollege.edu and click on test registration under Quick Links. Register yourself using a credit card. Note: You must have a college application on file for at least 24 hours before registering for a test and must use the exact email on your application.
2. Testing is required before you register for your classes.
3. On your testing day, arrive 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled testing time. No children are allowed in the testing room, and children should not be left unattended on campus.
4. Bring the following with you: Your receipt showing payment for test; two (2) forms of ID, including an official photo ID, #2 pencils, and a 4-function calculator (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, percentage key and a square key.) Your calculator cannot have a ruler on it. Calculators may be bought for THEA ONLY. Do not bring calculator for COMPASS.

Testing requires approximately three hours. Test results are usually available immediately, or within 7 to 10 working days - depending on which test you take.
