Career Services & Job Placement Center

A menu of career resources is available in the new Career Center. Stop in for career planning, career testing, and assistance with Job Placement Services—all at one location! Make yourself a free cup of coffee or a cup of hot tea, too! Currently, the open lab hours are Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 3:00 pm, or by appointment. The Career Center Lab is next to the Learning Lab, Building A in room 206. 

Services Available
Individual assistance with career and employment services is available by the Career Staff.

 JobLink is a free service and is accessible 24/7.Students and alumni of all college and continuing education programs can register and access an online job data set, JobLink.  Local, regional, national employers and college departments register and post jobs daily seeking to fill part-time, full-time, internship, work-study and student assistant positions. Access to Joblink will require a resume within two weeks. Many of these employment opportunities are related to degree plans and programs offered by Alvin Community College.

Perfect Interview™ is an innovative learning tool that you can use to enhance your job interviewing skills and develop an edge over the competition. Perfect Interview™ creates a compelling and realistic "simulated interview" experience where you are asked challenging questions and must respond, just as you would in a real job interview.
