Continuing Education & Workforce Development

Welcome to the Alvin Community College Department of Continuing Education and Workforce Development. Our mission is to provide programs that incorporate current and new technical courses; training partnerships with business and industry; and other opportunities for individuals to acquire and upgrade skills or seek personal enrichment.

We provide a variety of programs that allow our students to further or begin new careers in a number of fields including health care, professional services, industrial arts and more. In addition to career training, we offer Alvin and the surrounding communities the opportunity to be life-long learners in our personal enrichment and senior programs.
