According to the US Department of Labor, US families spend about six percent of their earnings on health care.
According to the US Department of Labor, employment in the health care industry is expected to increase by 22 percent by 2018. In fact, 10 of the 20 fastest growing occupations in America are in the health care field, including dental assistant, medical assistant, nursing and pharmacy technician.
