Crochet for Beginners
Create beautiful pieces in Crochet. You will learn the basic stitches, how to hold your needle and thread, and also how to read patterns. Pattern will be supplied. Bring a (size G or 6) crochet hook and yarn, any color will do.
Crochet for Intermediates
Must take beginners class or know the basic stitches in crocheting.
You will learn more detailed patterns and how to assemble the pieces crocheted. We will create a granny square that will be sewn together to create lap rugs, afghans, shawls etc. Pattern will be supplied. Bring supplies you have from Beginners class or bring a (size G or 6) crochet hook and yarn, any color will do.
Crochet for Advanced
Must take beginners class or know the basic stitches in crocheting.
You will learn more intricate stitches from patterns. With this knowledge you will be able to create your own special pieces and write down your own patterns to share with others. Pattern will be supplied in class. Bring supplies you have from Intermediate class or bring a (size G or 6) crochet hook and yarn, any color will do.
Learn the lost art of tatting.
Lost Art of Tatting for Beginners
Learn the basic stitches in tatting simply by making double knots and picots with a shuttle and thread. You will learn how to load your shuttle, and how to hold the thread and work the shuttle. You will also learn how to read patterns. Pattern will be supplied with the class. Supply list will be handed out in the first class.
Lost Art of Tatting for Intermediates
Must take beginners class or know the basic stitches in tatting.
You will learn how to make lace with the tatting technique. A more detailed pattern will be introduced and accomplish a medallion (cluster of rings joined together), this will be supplied in class. Bring supplies you have from beginners class or a supply list will be handed out in the first class.
Lost Art of Tatting for Advanced
Must take beginners class or know the basic stitches in tatting.
You will learn how to make jewelry and doilies by tatting double knots and picots. Patterns are more difficult and assembly is more detailed. You will also learn how to read these patterns and how to write your own patterns to share with your friends. Bring supplies you have from beginners class or a supply list will be handed out in the first class.
