Genealogy is research into your own ancestry. Specifically, it can be a case of simply discovering names, relationships and dates. More generally, it can be the study of the social and economic history of your family.
Learn the basic concept of researching your family tree. Taught by professional genealogist Nick Cimino this introductory class will help you get started in techniques and sources for compiling and preparing family trees.
Nick Cimino has been conducting genealogical research since 1989 and is a member of the Association for Professional Genealogists. He specializes in U.S. Census research to 1790, immigration/naturalization records, Native American, African American and foreign records in Italy, Ireland, British Isles and Spanish speaking countries. In addition, he is the Director of Operations at the Italian Cultural and Community Center.
