Career Planning Highlights

Career planning is a process that includes self-assessment, career exploration and information gathering. In targeting a specific goal, individuals can explore career preparation (training and/or gaining education), attainment of marketable skills and career management.

Individuals who need to decide or clarify a major, and individuals who need to identify new job possibilities, are highly encouraged to make use of this service.

The Career Planning Program is available and includes the following features.

  1. Completion of two online assessments (Myers-Brigss Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory) you can do at home
  2. Completion of a workbook with exercises to assess values, interests, passions, transferable skills and personality
  3. Individual counseling session to go over results of testing and workbook
  4. Overview of all career resources in the Career Center
Development of career goals and an action plan

There is a fee and time commitment. Call 281-756-3531 for registration information.
