Purpose
The Alvin Community College Law Enforcement Academy trains women and men for a career in Law Enforcement. The course curriculum is designed so the student can meet the testing objectives of the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Education (TCLEOSE) and be certified to take the state licensing examination. In addition, students will earn a total of 22 credit hours, 12 hours of which apply directly to the AAS Law Enforcement and Police Administration degree plan at Alvin Community College. The Academy has graduated almost 100 classes during the last four decades.
