The help you need to succeed is readily
available. Take advantage of the computer
labs or wireless Internet service or, if you need
help with research, instant message the library staff.
They are a great resource.
If you need a little extra help with algebra or English, use the learning lab. Free tutoring is available to students.
And, who doesn't need a refresher on study skills. Don't miss out on the study skills workshops offered every fall and spring semester.
If you're like many of our students, you work full or part-time and attend college. To assist you in achieving a proper balance between work hours and academic course load, we recommend the following guidelines.
- Your total number of work, class and study hours should be limited to about 60 hours a week
- You spend at least two hours of study time for each class hour; more for more difficult courses.
