Steps for Placement Testing

1. Sign up ahead of time for placement testing in the Academic Advising & Testing Office. Phone 281.756.3531.
2. Testing is required before you register for your classes.
3. On your testing day, arrive 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled testing time. No children are allowed in the testing room, and children should not be left unattended on campus.
4. Bring the following with you: Your receipt showing payment for test; two (2) forms of ID, including an official photo ID; a blue or black pen; #2 pencils; and a 4-function calculator (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).

Testing requires approximately three hours. Test results are usually available immediately, or within 7 to 10 working days - depending on which test you take.
