Taking a test online can be a very stressful experience,
but there are things you can do to make it a positive experience.
Of course the most important thing to do is study for the
test, but how do you prepare for testing online?This list
will show you some practical ideas for taking online tests.

Take a practice test. Ask the instructor if it is possible
to take a practice test so that you can preview how tests will
be administered. |

Know the time limit for the test so you can plan how to best
use your time. |

Know the format of the test. Are there multiple choice, fill
in the blank, essay questions, etc? |

Read all instructions very carefully before you begin the test. |

Prepare your testing environment. Make sure that you will be
in a quiet place that will be free of distractions. |

Gather testing supplies that are allowed for the test. Do you
need notes, textbooks, calculators? |

Prepare your mind for the test. Relax and take a deep breath
before you start the test. |

Be sure that you answer and save each question. |

Be aware of the time in the top right corner of the screen
if the test is timed. |

Do not close your Web browser during the test. |

If you are logged off for some reason do not panic. Try to
log back in to the test. If there is still time remaining, you
should be able to resume the test. |

immediately. Make a note of the time when the problem occured. |
