The program is designed to enhance both knowledge and comfort level in working with students with disabilities.

In their shoes is a 15-20 minute web based interactive training program that uses flash technology to provide an understanding of the ADA based responsibilities of those in higher education. It provides a glimpse of what it might be like to walk in the shoes of an individual with a disability. The program is designed with specific examples that relate to faculty interaction and classroom accommodations. The case scenarios will provide useful tips regarding how to effectively help students meet their academic goals.

There is a pre-test, post test format and evaluation.
