Grants

Grants

Grants are awarded to students based on financial need and do not have to be repaid if all requirements are met.

Important information about grants:

Eligibility for grants is determined by the FAFSA results, enrollment, cost of attendance, and other aid received. Students will automatically be considered for the grants listed below, but some awards are limited by fund availability.

Eligibility may be reduced or aid cancelled due to: not meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements, changes in the availability of funds, changes in marital status, changes in financial resources, or enrolling in classes outside of the active ACC degree/certificate plan.

Students who have received a bachelor degree are not eligible for Federal and State grants.

Eligibility may be limited if the student has been convicted of a felony or crime involving a controlled substance.

Additional State grant requirements:

  • If you are a parent obligated to pay child support, please note that you must be current on your child support obligations to receive grants or loans from ACC.
  • Males 18 years and older must be registered with Selective Service.
  • Documentation of these requirements may be requested.
