Attention All Students! Check this section for time sensitive information and scholarship opportunities.
- Spring 2012 available financial aid will be applied to student ACC accounts for tuition and fees on January 9, 2012.
- Students may use available Spring 2012 financial aid to purchase books and supplies at the ACC Bookstore January 10 – 24, 2012.
- Spring 2012 Aid Refund Checks:
- For grant recipients and the first loan disbursement for former ACC loan borrowers - mailed beginning January 31, 2012.
- First loan disbursement for first-time ACC loan borrowers - mailed beginning March 2, 2012.
- Second loan disbursements for all loan borrowers - mailed beginning May 9, 2012.
- All refund checks are mailed, NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Financial aid cost of attendance (COA) is calculated on a yearly basis; therefore, adjustments will not be made for changes approved by the Alvin Community College Board of Regents.
- Fall 2011 Financial Aid Refund Checks:
- For grant recipients and the first loan disbursement for former ACC loan borrowers - mailed beginning September 9, 2011.
- First loan disbursement for first-time ACC loan borrowers - mailed beginning October 12, 2011.
- Second loan disbursement for all loan borrowers - mailed beginning November 22, 2011.
- All refund checks are mailed, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Important Information - Adjustments to Your Financial Aid
ACC reserves the right to cancel or revise your aid, including possible repayment of aid, at any time for reasons that include but are not limited to the following: failure to make satisfactory academic progress, changes in the availability of funds, changes in marital status, and changes in financial resources.
