Alvin Community College offers free English as a Second Language classes during the spring and fall semesters.

Four levels of instruction are offered based on the student’s proficiency. Classes are available for the non-English speaker and progress up to those who want to perfect their pronunciation and grammar skills.

Prior to enrollment, students will be evaluated for their current level of English proficiency to determine placement.

The classes are free and are offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. in building A, 2nd floor.
