Pre-registration in the Enrollment Services Center (ESC) is required. In order to pre-register, please bring:
- Photo ID (TX Drivers License, DPS ID card, Military ID, or Passport)
- Social Security Card
- $80 testing fee
- GED Testing Consent (17 year olds only)
- GED Transcript Request (Texas Only)
Day Schedule
Tuesday is testing day. The day schedule requires two (2) days of testing.

Retesting
Examinees must wait six months before retesting. If the examinee is tutored by a certified teacher or participates in an adult education program, retesting may occur when the instructor determines that the examinee is prepared and provides the examinee with a retest letter. Registration for retesting must be done in advance. The retesting fee is $15 per retest.
