Mission Statement

The mission of Alvin Community College is to improve lives by providing affordable, accessible and innovative educational opportunities to those it serves.

Referring to Alvin Community College

When referring to the College, specifically in written materials, spell out the College name on first usage: Alvin Community College. After that, you can refer to the College as ACC or simply "the College." Capitalize the word College when referring to ACC. We are Alvin Community College or ACC (without periods). Never use A.C.C. (with periods).

How Do I Get Started Creating a Marketing Piece?

New and updated brochures, posters, postcards, specialty items and all advertisements should be submitted to the Marketing department -- see contact information below. These jobs will then be scheduled and routed to the Graphics and Printing department for production.

Re-printing with no changes and jobs such: as business cards, letterhead, envelopes, programs, fliers, instructional and administrative documents, should be submitted directly to Graphics and Printing and/or the Copy Center.
