Customized Training
The Center for Professional & Workforce Development (CPWD) offers area businesses and organizations proven, timely and cost-effective training solutions on virtually any topic.
Our training solutions range from offering non-credit classes, seminars and workshops, to creating fully customized training specifically designed and tailored for each individual client.

These solutions include delivering the training at a location best suited to meeting the needs of our clients, at their site or one of our locations; and at a time that is most convenient for them
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Licensing & Certification

We offer a variety of programs and review classes designed to help you meet certification or recertification requirements and/or prepare you to succeed at challenging certification exams. Earn Continuing Education Units to maintain your current professional status.

Workforce Education

Alvin Community College provides occupational training in real estate, truck driving, bank teller, culinary arts, information technology, welding. Health related topics include massage therapy, pharmacy technology, and health & medical.
