Tuition and fees

Out-of-District (OD) fees are required of students residing outside the Alvin Community College tax district. This fee is indicated with each class in the schedule of classes. It is calculated using this formula: $12 per course for 17 hours or less and $15 per course for 18 hours or more. To be classified as In-District (IN) for classes, a Texas resident must live within the boundaries of the Alvin Community College tax district. Alvin residents are considered In-District when taking classes at the Pearland campus.

Enrollment/Program Costs

Tuition and fees must be paid in full at time of registration. A minimum number of students are required for each course. Tuition and fees are based on program costs, instruction costs, registration, equipment, and building use.
