Testing

The State of Texas requires that all college students prove they are college-ready before registering for classes at a college or university in Texas. One of the ways to establish college-readiness is through placement testing.

At Alvin Community College, the Testing Center administers all placement tests. The Testing Center is located inside the Academic Advising & Testing Office.

We recommend that you test as soon as possible so you will have time for your scores to be processed and for your advising session to be completed before registration.
