Program Description
Are you interested in becoming a radio personality, television reporter, videographer or producer? If so, a career in Broadcast Communications may be for you. ACC offers courses in Radio Broadcasting and Television Production. The Department of Communication provides the opportunity to obtain hands-on experience in the areas of radio, television, and multi-track recording. Those interested in radio broadcasting can gain valuable experience at KACC-FM, a federally licensed radio station. Those interested in television have the opportunity to produce programming for KACC-TV, the local cable access channel. ACC also offers unique opportunities for internships in commercial radio and television facilities, production firms and sports broadcasting franchises.

Career Opportunities
Career opportunities exist in the areas of programming, news, general administration, engineering and sales. Presently, the fields of broadcast communication, multi-media services, and corporate and broadcast video production are experiencing remarkable growth. Students who successfully complete this program will have the skills necessary for employment in the communications field.
