Program Descriptions

The Associate of Arts – General Liberal Arts Degree includes the general education courses and introductory specialty courses that are usually required in the first two years of equivalent baccalaureate programs. Students who complete these curriculums normally transfer to a four-year college or university where they major in one of the following subject areas:

The Associate of Arts – General Studies Degree is designed for the student who wishes to pursue a multidisciplinary academic program for personal enrichment, but who does not have a specific baccalaureate degree goal. However, in some academic areas, this program may meet the requirements for more advanced study. The student wishing to continue should consult with the receiving college or university of transfer of courses.
