Study Skills

Many students state that when they began college they realized they never really learned how to study, take notes, and prepare for exams. These skills are an important part of success in college. Not only can they help you improve your grades, but they can also boost your self-esteem, and help you enjoy your college experience.

Advising Services offers study skills workshops during the fall and spring semesters. These classes are free and are a powerful way to learn skills for success in college. During these workshops, counselors share their knowledge and guide student discussions.
