English for Speakers of Other Languages

The course, open to all levels, uses an individual needs analysis to help students with their specific English difficulties. Students develop speaking and listening skills through conversation and interaction. Reading, writing, vocabulary expansion, and some electronic components prepare speakers of languages other than English to function in educational, work and personal English speaking contexts.

L.E.A.R.N.

This six-week class is designed for adults with special needs ages 23 and older, and out of high school. Topics include cooking, arts and crafts, exercise, basic life skills training, and social interaction. Each six-week class focuses on a new topic.

Requirements:

Lifestory Writing - (Senior Adult Class)

In this senior adult course, students learn to put decades of eye-witness accounts of twentieth century history into written form. they will create a well written legacy for others to enjoy.
