ACC Drama Announces 2025-26 Lineup
The story of a postwar American family, a musical about cantankerous youngsters in the holidays and an adaptation of a literary classic are part of the 2025-26 lineup for the Alvin Community College Drama Department.
The Fall production will be the Arthur Miller play All My Sons. The holiday musical will be The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. The Spring performance will the musical adaptation of Little Women.
The 41st Summer Children’s Theatre Festival will include performances of Mr. Toad’s Mad Adventures and Cowabunga.
“This year at ACC theater has something for everyone,” said Christ Tennison, ACC Theatre director. “All in all, this season if chock full delights for our audience, and we can't wait to share what we have in store. See you at the Theater!”
All My Sons is the story of businessman Joe Keller who is haunted by the mistakes of his past in the aftermath of World War II. Performances will be October 11, 16-18 at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee performance at 2:30 p.m. on October 12. The talkback performance will be October 17.
“This family drama will have audience on the edge of their seats,” Tennison said.
The Best Christmas Pageant ever is a musical depicting the chaotic casting and production of a holiday pageant. Performances will be December 6, 11-13 at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee performance on December 7 at 2:30 p.m. The talkback performance will be December 12.
Little Women is a musical adaptation of the classic American book. Performances will be April 11, 16-18 at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee performance on April 12 at 2:30 p.m. The talkback performance will be on April 18.
“This beautiful adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's famed coming of age novel will transport our audience to the home of the March Sisters, telling their story through haunting music and lyrics,” Tennison said.
The Summer Children’s Theatre Festival will begin on June 23 with Mr. Toad’s Mad Adventures, an adaptation of the classic Wind in the Willows book. The cow skater adventure Cowabunga will begin on July 28.
