It is important to our mission that we support all faculty and staff by providing professional development in a manner that best meets the needs of the individual learner. ACC offers professional development through a variety of delivery modes including:
We proudly offer opportunities for faculty and staff to meet with our training professionals for personalized assistance. On Demand Training
On demand training provides learners the opportunity to access prerecorded training materials that can be accessed at any time that is convenient. Click on the “On Demand” link in the menu to see the many possibilities for self-help training.
Multiple opportunities are offered each semester for learners who prefer to work within a group setting and learn through the hands on method. This mode of training takes place in the Professional Development Center in A-164. Click on the registration link in the menu to access and register for the specific topics that will offered each semester.
Facilitated workshops provide learners the opportunity to collaborate and discuss important topics of interest in small group settings comprised of other peers.
The Center for Success offers custom-tailored faculty development for individuals, groups, and even entire departments on a wide variety of topics. Email PDC@alvincollege.edu for more information or to request specialized training for your particular department.
