AI Agility Challenge
AI is reshaping how work gets done across every industry. Alvin College, in partnership with humanskills.ai, offers the AI Agility Challenge to help our region's workforce build the skills AI can't replace.
This structured program pairs focused micro-lessons with applied exercises tied to real work, around 20 minutes a day, and designed to fit into your workday. Participants are guided by Virgil, an agentic AI learning guide that adapts to how each person thinks and works, identifying skill gaps and building real capability over time rather than dependency. Participants can join a scheduled cohort or complete the program at their own pace. Either way, they build six research-backed competencies including AI fluency, human-AI collaboration and responsible AI use. On completion join the Directing Intelligence community for ongoing monthly learning.
No prior AI experience required.

time student of AI)
"Each aspect of every module seems to carefully reinforce the desired learning. I
find that with Virgil asking me to review, reexamine or refine my process helps immensely.”
Career Opportunities
AI fluency is now one of the most in-demand capabilities across virtually every profession. The AI Agility Challenge helps professionals develop the human skills that predict AI success, including the ability to direct AI, delegate to it, evaluate its outputs and know when to set it aside. Upon completion, participants receive an AI Agility Certificate that demonstrates real Human x AI capability to employers.
Participants who complete the program are better positioned for roles across healthcare, construction, energy, education, marketing, operations and administration, including positions such as operations coordinator, project manager, HR professional, marketing specialist and healthcare administrator.
Whether you are looking to advance in your current role, transition into a new one or simply become more confident and capable at work, the skills and certification gained through this program are immediately applicable and recognized in today's workplace.

aren’t small wins. They directly improve the lives of people we support. I watched
people who were hesitant transform into confident leaders who now use AI every day
to strengthen our mission.”
