Dual Enrollment/Dual Degree

The Alvin College Dual Enrollment program provides eligible high school students, grades 9-12, with the opportunity to participate in college courses and earn both high school and college credit for the same course.

The Dual Degree agreement offers qualified students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma and an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies simultaneously.

University Transfer Pathways

Planning to transfer? Alvin College collaborates with many colleges and universities to offer students seamless transfer pathways.

Prior Learning Assessment

Do you have military experience? Or, are currently working in the industry and now  need a degree? Or, have you taken an AP or CLEP exam recently? Learn how to apply the knowledge and skills you've gained outside of the classroom for credit towards your certificate or degree through Prior Learning Assessment (PLA).
