College Leadership
The leadership of Alvin Community College (ACC) consists of the College President, Board of Regents, Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and the Instructional Leadership Team (ILT).
Our President
Dr. Christal M. Albrecht has served as the President of Alvin Community College since
2014. Before coming to ACC she was president of Florida State College at Jacksonville Kent
Campus and Campus President at Pima Community College-Desert Vista Campus.

Board of Regents
Alvin Community College has nine members on the Board of Regents. Each member is elected
to a six year term, and all members serve at-large.

Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
The ELT meets regularly to deliberate large-scale topics central to the overall continued
success of the college such as the strategic plan, budget planning and implementation,
college policy, legislative issues, and program and regional accreditation.

Instructional Leadership Team (ILT)
The purpose of the Instructional Leadership Team is to facilitate communication and
coordination among instructional divisions of the college. The ILT also makes recommendations
to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) regarding curricular and academic matters.
