ACC Recognizes Students on Awards Day
Alvin Community College recognized several students for academic excellence during the Award Day ceremony on April 29.
Among the winners included Mamie Precious Turay, a native of Sierra Leone, who was awarded the President’s Award.
Many students were honored and awarded scholarships during the ceremony. The scholarships were awarded by several ACC departments and civic organizations including Soroptimist International of Alvin and Alvin Sunrise Rotary.
