ACC Board Filing Begins on January 17

Filing for the upcoming Board of Regents election will begin on January 17 and end on February 16 at 5 p.m.

The May 4 election will include four positions on the board.

Up for vote in this election will be positions 1, 2 and 3 currently held by regent Kam Marvel, Board Chair ‘Bel Sanchez and regent Dr. Jim Crumm, respectively. Those elected will serve an unpaid, six-year term.

Also on the ballot will be the remaining two years of the term for Position 6. Regent Jake Starkey resigned from the position in November. Former regent Mike Pyburn was voted by the board to serve on an interim basis.

Early voting will run from April 22-30. Election Day is Saturday, May 4.
