ACC Staff Named to Harvard Data Project
Two Alvin Community Colleges staff members were selected to participate in a data project fellowship through Harvard University Strategic Data Project.
ACC Institutional Effectiveness & Research Dean/Executive Director Pat Sanger and Director Philip O’Brien were chosen for the fellowship in the program.
“I am excited to see our staff members in Institutional Effectiveness & Research selected for this program,” said ACC President Dr. Robert J. Exley. “I am equally excited to see how their fellowship with this program will benefit the college and its students.”
The Strategic Data Project is a professional development initiative for data professionals to learn how best to use data to improve the lives of students. A fellowship in the program includes two years of intensive in-person and virtual development, training and mentorship.
As fellows, Sanger and O’Brien will learn about how to apply strategic initiatives, developing insights through student data and build a strong data culture with other organizations.
