ACC Job Fair
Alvin Community College will host a Job Fair on April 13 to help members of the community meet with local employers.
Sixteen employers will be on hand at the fair to visit with potential employees. The fair is open to the public and anyone is invited to attend.
“The job fair is an opportunity for students, alumni and the community to see what’s available in the job market,” said Sarahy Farley, Career Services coordinator. “It also brings our area employers to establish and maintain a connection with the community.”
The job fair will be Wednesday, April 13 at the Science Building Lobby from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Employers include at the fair will include Ascend Performance Materials, BASF, Charter Healthcare, City of Angleton Police Department, City of Pearland Parks & Recreation, Economic Alliance Houston Port Region, Galveston County Health District EMS, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Port Freeport, Thelma Ley Anderson YMCA, Turner Industries Group and UTMB.
Free food will also be provided.
Those seeking employment are asked to bring a copy of their resume to share with the employers at the site.
