All ACC LVN Grads Pass License Test for 12th year
For the 12th straight year, every graduate from the latest class of the Alvin Community College Vocational Nursing program recently passed their licensure exam.
All 27 students who graduated in May 2023 took the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) this summer.
“Our graduates were very anxious about being the first ACC Vocational Nursing class to experience the new national licensure exam (NCLEX-PN) test plan,” said Tori McTaggart, LVN director at ACC. “The VN faculty are excited that the class of 2023 rose to the occasion and continued the tradition by making this the 12th year in a row that our graduates achieved a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX-PN.”
The national pass rate for the NCLEX exam is 86.5 percent.
