ACC Regents Hear Strategic Goal Report
The Alvin Community College Board of Regents reviewed a report on one of the college’s strategic goals related to human resources during the board meeting on March 25.
Vice President of Human Resources Karen Edwards delivered the report on standards for the college staffing guide which was implemented as part of the college’s 5-year Strategic Plan.
The report included information about changes to compensation structures, cost of living adjustments and more.
In other action, regents approved the renewal of their casualty insurance policy with Gallagher Victory Insurance. The $562,722 renewal will provide coverage from April 2021 to April 2022.
Regents also:
-received annual report from ACC Police regarding racial profiling
-approved new hires including a Fiscal Affairs Director and a Radio/Television faculty member
-approved monthly financial reports
The board will have its next meeting on Thursday, April 22 at 6 p.m.
