Pursuing a voice on the discussion about the future of entrepreneur education, Alvin College President Dr. Robert J. Exley was recently named to the board of directors for the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE).
Alvin Community College has officially been renamed to Alvin College. The name change was recently approved by the Board of Regents and was announced during the annual Founder's Day luncheon on November 4. To commemorate the new name, Alvin College also unveiled a new logo and branding.
As artificial intelligence begins to gain a foothold in the workforce and in creative endeavors, a group of Alvin Community College students were recently honored for a video on the topic at the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship.
